You will attend monthly practice group meetings in various areas of IP. We encourage all our professionals to become licensed patent and trademark agents, and provide extensive training to assist them in writing the patent agency exams.

1. How do I apply to join the Smart & Biggar team?

In general, we require a cover letter, resume, and school transcripts (both undergraduate and available law school grades). For more details, contact the Smart & Biggar office at which you wish to work. We currently hire students for our summer and articling program in our Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver offices.  Please note we are not currently hiring students for our Calgary office at this time.
