Bill C-30 to implement CETA tabled in Canadian Parliament: implications for pharmaceuticals

On October 31, 2016, the day following its signing (see our article here), the Canadian Minister of International Trade, the Honourable Chrystia Freeland, tabled Bill C-30, An Act to implement the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) between Canada and the European Union and its Member States and to provide for certain other measures. The following provides an overview of the main provisions specifically relevant to pharmaceuticals.
