Smart & Biggar will have three professionals  presenting at the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) 91st Annual Meeting in Niagara Falls, October 11-13, 2017.

   Partner Daphne Lainson, a Fellow of IPIC, will be speaking on a panel titled, “Post-Final Practice – Understanding Your Options at the End of the Line,” on Thursday, October 12th.

Partner Mark Biernacki, also a Fellow of IPIC, will be speaking on a panel titled “Copyright: Fair Dealing and Technological Protection Measures,” on Friday, October 13th.

Finally, Daniel Davies, an associate of IPIC and member of the Forums and Seminars Committee, will be moderating “Keep it or share it:  Confidential and Proprietary Information in Joint Ventures,” on Friday October 13th.

IPIC’s Annual Meeting is an opportunity for members of the Intellectual Property community to learn about exciting developments in IP, to earn annual CPD and CLE credits, and to network with colleagues and fellow practitioners.
