Biography

Neil S. Clark is a partner in our Vancouver office where he is involved in the patent and industrial design areas of intellectual property. He conducts patentability searches, drafts and prosecutes patent and industrial design applications, and provides infringement and validity opinions.

In his patent work, Mr. Clark specializes in the field of mechanical devices. He has worked with both large and small clients in preparing patent applications for filing all over the world for such diverse inventions as log handling and processing equipment, residential heating and fireplace systems, medical equipment for in vivo detection of cancer and automotive equipment. Mr. Clark also has in-depth experience with patents covering waste water treatment equipment and control and measurement systems for the production of sheet paper in the paper making industry.
