Biography
Nicholas Fyfe is of counsel to Smart & Biggar / Fetherstonhaugh, practising in our Ottawa office in the area of intellectual property litigation. Mr. Fyfe has extensive experience in counseling domestic and foreign clients with respect to all aspects of industrial and intellectual property law and has appeared frequently before administrative tribunals, the Ontario and Federal Courts (at both the Trial and Appellate levels), as well as before the Supreme Court of Canada. He is named as counsel in over 130 reported cases.
Mr. Fyfe was recently recognized as one of "the world's 50 leading trade-mark law experts" in Managing Intellectual Property magazine. Mr. Fyfe has written and lectured extensively on intellectual property matters.
